Many couples utilise and incorporate their engagement photos as part of their wedding theme.
On the Wedding Day
Although we’ve got solutions if it does rain that we are happy to discuss on the run up to the wedding, here are a few ideas:
For it to rain non-stop through the time allocated for our wedding photography creative session is extremely rare. So even if it’s raining for a while there’s usually an opportunity to get out and get some shots. On the one occasion when the rain just didn’t let up we got out there with umbrellas and still got some fantastic images and then went back outside later during the reception whilst guests were still finishing their meals.
Rain in photos can actually make for some very beautiful and dramatic shots. As you can see from the image below
To make life easier in the event of rain it’s worth getting hold of some umbrellas to keep you and your partner dry and give us the option to shoot outside if we wish. Another great idea is to get some parasols that have a showerproof coating. They act as an elegant prop whatever the weather.
