Akaroa wedding photography for Yasna and Andy at the super Mount Vernon Lodge

It was great to be back in Akaroa to photograph another wedding at the fabulous Mount Vernon Lodge. Yasna and Andy were awesome to work with and so were their bridal party too.

Yasna and Andy decided to buck with tradition and do what is called a reveal prior to the ceremony. This is a great way for the bride and groom to spend some quality time with each other and their friends in the bridal party before the formalities and it's also a great way to get some beautiful images of when they see each other for the first time.

Yasna and Andy chilled out and enjoyed a nice picnic with their bridal party at Children's Bay in Akaroa before heading back to Mount Vernon Lodge for the ceremony. After all the congratulations the guests made the most of the beautiful surroundings at Mount Vernon Lodge and it was obvious that they were all having a great time. Yasna and Andy organised a photo booth, a few games, and their attention to detail in the reception room was fantastic.
