Lincoln University Wedding Photo Gallery
As is often the case we spent the first part of the day with the bride getting ready getting photos of her and her friends getting ready for the wedding day and various shots of details of the dress, the flowers and the rings etc.
The wedding ceremony was held at Lincoln University in Christchurch. It was a really cool venue because it meant all the photos including the more artistic bridal party photos were all taken on site. Keeping the photo shoot on sight like this can be a really good idea as it saves time on the day having to travel between locations. It sixalso helped that Lincoln University has got some interesting architecture, both new and old, that we were able to utilise in the composition of the wedding photos. My favourite shot of the day was the black and white photo of Heidi's Grandad embracing her just after the ceremony. His expression is priceless and I'm really pleased with how the photo captures the essence of what he was feeling at that precise moment.
The complete collection of photos gave a really good balance of telling the story as it happened whilst encompassing elements of fun, emotion, romance and sensitivity.
